the Glorius Revolution



HW: Read 180-82
Page 181:  Read the section, the Bloodless Revolution.  List 5 new ideas and changes that created more rights for citizens and less rights for the king.
Explain the agreement or Bill of rights negotiated with William of Orange that led to the Glorious Revolution. 
 
p. 182  How did the Glorious Revolution in England create the foundation for democratic governments (such as in the United States)?   Give 3 examples of how our government, laws, and rights are similar. (see p. 181) 
 
 Explain natural rights theory of John Locke. What other ideas did he have about government? According to Locke why did people need government?  Define mutual  And then explain what are the mutual obligations of the government and the people to the government.
